What is king's kids?
Welcome to King's Kids! At Christ the King, we believe that children have intrinsic value in the Kingdom of God. We believe that children are capable of loving, trusting and following Christ. We also believe that children’s lives can be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit. The ultimate goal of King’s Kids Children’s Ministry is to provide a safe and welcoming place for kids to learn about and experience God and his love. We also want to partner with and equip parents in introducing children to deep faith and the saving grace of Jesus, so that they will be lifelong disciples of Christ: loving, following, serving, and being entirely His.

What, where & when?
Our nursery and preschool kids (ages 0 - Pre K) share space upstairs in The Treehouse. Here they will play, have a Bible lesson, sing songs, make a craft, and have a snack. This age group can be dropped off before the service and picked up afterwards. Our Elementary aged kids begin the morning in our sanctuary with their families and then are dismissed to their age-friendly class. Our Kindergarten - 2nd grade kids are upstairs in the King's Kids area and our 3rd - 5th graders are in the annex just a few steps across the parking court.
Just like our greater faith community we center everything we do on the gospel of Christ, who he is and what he has done for us. Each teaching session includes a time to connect with the topic and each other, a time to gather around scripture and learn, a time to respond to the work of the Holy Spirit and a time for prayer. We have a lot of fun and snacks along the way!

What, where & when?
Here's what happens on Sunday: Children who are in kindergarten through 5th grade will start the service with their parent or guardian in our "big church". After a few worship songs, they will be dismissed for a fun and relevant lesson upstairs with Jennie and our volunteer leaders. Please pick your kids up promptly at the end of the service. Thank you!
We also have a nursery for infants & toddlers available upstairs during the entire duration of our service. These little ones meet in out Tree House room for play time, lesson, craft and snack. Please check-in your kids at that door.
